About Ruairi
Ruairi began his rallying career after utilising his A-level results to compete in the junior British Rally championship in 2019. With a successful season, he managed to win the junior British Rally championship Fiesta prize and score a scholarship to the junior world Rally in 2020. This prompted Ruairi to take an indefinite deferral from the London School of Economics University and pursue a full-time career in Rallying.
2020 became a problematic year for everybody globally. Still, Ruairi managed to finish first with a record set in the Junior Rally Championship at the end of the season, becoming the highest ever placed junior WRC driver on a WRC stage.
This year, Ruairi is competing in the 2022 British Rally Championship, driving for Inspira Rally Team. As one of the youngest drivers in the championship, he is thrilled to be able to race alongside experienced drivers and is grateful for the chance to compete in a Championship as prestigious as the BRC.
